Prerequisites
To add USDT wallets, your KYC verification must be approved. If you have not yet completed the KYC process, please do so before proceeding. Unverified accounts cannot register payment methods on the platform.
What Is a Registered USDT Wallet?
A registered USDT wallet is a blockchain wallet address linked to your account for USDT transactions. When you initiate a buy order (receiving USDT) or a sell order (sending USDT), the platform uses your registered wallet addresses as the source or destination of the transfer. Pre-registering wallets ensures accuracy and links your addresses to your verified identity.
Step 1: Go to the USDT Wallets Section
Log in to your P2P Skrill account and navigate to the USDT Wallets section from the navigation menu. Here you'll see all your registered wallet addresses and their current status.
Step 2: Add a New USDT Wallet
Click Add USDT Wallet. You'll be prompted to enter:
- Your USDT wallet address (the public blockchain address)
- The network type (e.g., TRC20 on the TRON network, or ERC20 on the Ethereum network)
- An optional label to help you identify the wallet
Important: Always verify that your wallet address is correct before saving. Blockchain transactions to wrong addresses are irreversible. Triple-check the first and last characters of your wallet address.
Step 3: Select the Correct Network
USDT operates on multiple blockchain networks. The most common on P2P Skrill are TRC20 (TRON) and ERC20 (Ethereum). Make absolutely sure the network you select when registering matches the network your wallet supports. Sending USDT on the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds.
Step 4: Activate Your Wallet
Once saved, toggle the wallet to Active status. Only active wallets are available for selection during trade order placement. You can register multiple wallets and activate only the ones you wish to use at any given time.
Step 5: Edit or Remove Wallets
If you generate a new wallet address or stop using an existing one, update your registered wallets accordingly. Click edit next to the wallet you want to modify, update the details, and save the changes.
Safety Tips
- Never share your private key — P2P Skrill only requires your public wallet address
- Always copy-paste wallet addresses rather than typing them manually to avoid errors
- Confirm the network type with your wallet app before registering to prevent misrouted transfers
- Regularly review your registered wallets and deactivate any you no longer use
