What is KYC and Why is it Required?
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is a mandatory identity check that every P2P Skrill member must complete before accessing the platform's trading features. The process verifies that you are a real, identifiable person — which is the foundation of our fraud-free trading environment.
Without completing KYC, you will not be able to add Skrill accounts, register USDT wallets, or place any trade orders. The good news: the process is straightforward and completed instantly.
What You Will Need
- A government-issued photo ID (national ID card, passport, or driver's license)
- The ID must be valid and not expired
- A clear, legible photograph or scan of the ID — both front and back where applicable
- Your Google account for platform sign-in
Step 1: Sign In with Google
Go to the P2P Skrill homepage and click Sign in with Google. Use the Google account you want associated with your P2P Skrill profile. You will be redirected to the platform automatically after successful authentication.
Step 2: Access the KYC Setup Page
After your first login, you will be automatically directed to the KYC setup page. Fill in your personal details exactly as they appear on your government-issued ID — full name, date of birth, and any other required fields.
Step 3: Upload Your ID Document
Upload a clear photo or scan of your government-issued ID. Make sure that:
- All four corners of the document are visible in the image
- The text and photo on the ID are clearly legible
- There is no glare, blur, or obstruction covering any part of the document
- The file is within the accepted size limit
Step 4: Submit and Wait for Review
Once you have filled in your details and uploaded your documents, submit your KYC application. You will be redirected to a "KYC Pending" page confirming that your application has been received and is under review by our admin team.
Your application is reviewed and approved instantly. Once approved, you immediately gain access to all trading features. If rejected, you will be notified of the reason and given the opportunity to resubmit.
Common Reasons for Rejection
- Blurry or illegible ID photos
- Expired identification documents
- Mismatched personal information between the form and the ID
- Incomplete document uploads
If your application is rejected for any of these reasons, simply correct the issue and resubmit using the same process.
