Prerequisites
Before you can add a Skrill account to P2P Skrill, you must have completed and passed your KYC verification. Unverified users cannot register payment accounts on the platform. If you haven't completed KYC yet, refer to our KYC verification guide first.
What Is a Registered Skrill Account?
A registered Skrill account is a Skrill email address and its associated details that you have linked to your P2P Skrill profile. When placing a buy or sell order, you select from your registered accounts as the source or destination of funds. Pre-registering accounts speeds up the trading process and adds a security layer — all accounts are associated with your verified identity.
Step 1: Navigate to the Skrill Accounts Section
After logging in, go to the Skrill Accounts section from your navigation menu. This is where all your registered Skrill accounts are displayed and managed.
Step 2: Add a New Skrill Account
Click the Add Skrill Account button. You will be asked to provide:
- The email address associated with your Skrill account
- The full name registered on the Skrill account
- The country code and phone number linked to the Skrill account
- Any recipient-specific details required for transfers
Fill in all fields accurately. The information you provide must match the actual Skrill account details exactly, as discrepancies will cause transaction failures.
Step 3: Activate Your Account
After adding a Skrill account, it will appear in your account list. Use the toggle to set the account as Active. Only active accounts are available for selection when placing trade orders. You can have multiple Skrill accounts registered but activate only the ones you want available at any given time.
Step 4: Edit or Update Account Details
If your Skrill account details change — for example, if you update the phone number linked to your Skrill account — you can edit the registered details from the Skrill Accounts page. Click the edit option next to the relevant account and update the necessary fields.
Managing Multiple Skrill Accounts
P2P Skrill supports multiple registered Skrill accounts per user, which is useful for traders who maintain separate accounts for different currencies or purposes. Toggle individual accounts active or inactive depending on which ones you want available for your current trading session.
Best Practices
- Always double-check account details after adding — errors in email addresses or phone numbers will cause transfer failures
- Keep inactive accounts toggled off to maintain a clean selection during order placement
- If an account becomes invalid (closed or changed), update or remove it promptly to avoid failed transactions
